Why is stainless steel better than plastic?

Plastic easily gets micro-scratches from your cat's claws, which trap bacteria and create permanent odors. Our non-porous stainless steel pan never absorbs smells and stays completely hygienic for a lifetime.

Will my cat know how to use the top exit?

Yes! Most cats naturally prefer jumping. The front door is one-way entry, intuitively guiding them to use the grated top exit, which successfully catches stray litter from their paws as they leave.

Is the stainless steel pan heavy or hard to clean?

Not at all. Despite being highly durable, it's remarkably lightweight. Plus, the non-stick surface means urine clumps slide right off without sticking to the bottom, making washing it out incredibly fast.

Can I use any type of litter with this box?

Absolutely! The Nomi is fully compatible with all litter types, including clumping clay, tofu, pine pellets, and crystal litters.

Does the box leak if my cat pees high on the walls?

No! The top plastic enclosure overlaps the inside of the 15 cm / 5.9-inch deep stainless pan (on the medium size), creating a seamless barrier that completely prevents high-spraying leaks from reaching your floor.

Can I take the front door off if my cat prefers it open?

Yes, the transparent front flap is fully removable. You can easily detach it during the training phase or leave it off permanently if your cat prefers an unobstructed view.
